@@nani_bow3489 she really did this?lol
"She's human. She should enjoy herself in her private time and allow to wild party at 4am."
The real reason that kind of image is avoided by all politicians because general public will stop taking them seriously once they see a PM dancing happily at 4am. It paints the image of a PM with no worries about people's problem. The PM becomes a joke.
There's no pause for people's problem. It's 24/7. Farmers are worrying with expensive animals feeds and fertilizers. Industrials are coping with high production cost. Consumers are panicking about food securities. Most folks are struggling with daily living cost. *They expect the PM to solve the problem quickly because every single day counted.*
General public can tolerate if the government explains much longer time needed to find the solution, with the PM is working hard to help them. But imagine what would general public with a lot of worries, think of a PM dancing happily at 4am, with no solution to their problem? I doubt they would see her as someone who has enough competency to run a country as PM. Her image as a party girl remains.

PM is definitely "not just a job", it is the leader of a nation, and what the PM does in her or his "free time" absolutely can affect how successful they are in their task of leading and inspiring. For someone in her position to be seen partying like any ordinary twenty-something (or thirty-something) is ridiculous and shows really immature judgement. It may well be that people in Finland under the age of 35 will consider this ok, but I can almost guarantee that anyone over that age will see this as casting doubt on her maturity, and she is supposed to be the leader of ALL the people, not just the cool kids.
So probably electors should consider about that before electing very young model-look lady?
Sanna Marin told the media right after being elected PM that she is a human being and will not change. I am over 60 and far from a socialist that she is, but in reality she is respected in Finland especailly as she is what she is and is not pretending to be anything else. There was an earlier partying 'scandal' and I said already then and repeat it now: If the secret of her doing her job as she is doing it is actually alcohol, then the state should hire a person to take care that her glass is always full. She is the leader of all Finns, and a damn good leader.
@@viktorianas Possibly. I know I personally would not be willing to follow such a person to war should she decide that was the needed course of action. The people of the world have woken-up about such ridiculously archaic sentiments as these, ...her job is to lead her government, ...her social status is a PERSONAL thing - it was never a requirement of the job-title.
Unfortunately - we have been all raised with the ideals that are present in our society when we consciously JOIN it - and unfortunately the press, social-media and uptight old farts are the ones who established what we all know to be 'political representation'.
Having fun isn't illegal last time I checked - and it's naturally what living people do - they celebrate life, they play, sing and dance. You know what crazy people do? They suppress all of that - they hide their humanity and falsely portray themselves as fixtures of immovability.
We'll all done with liars and fakes. We WANT human representation.
